We regret to inform you that the International Longshoremen’s Association (ILA) and the United States Maritime Alliance (USMX) have failed to reach an agreement before the strike deadline. Effective midnight last night, workers at the US East Coast and Gulf ports have officially gone on strike, resulting in a complete halt of all union operations.

This labor action is causing significant disruptions in cargo movement at the United States East Coast and Gulf ports, which are vital to the US supply chain. Given the interconnected nature of global shipping networks, we anticipate that these disruptions may have repercussions that will impact other trade routes and regions.

Due to the ongoing strike, it is not possible for Kuraray America, Inc. to provide estimated time of arrival (ETA) for deliveries facilitated by third-party carriers. This includes orders that are already in transit and any future shipments. Deliveries may be delayed due to multiple other factors outside of our control, including congestion at ports and adjustments to shipping routes.

Please know that your business is important to us, and we are committed to working diligently on your behalf during this challenging time.
