June 24, 2022 — Kuraray Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Hitoshi Kawahara; hereinafter “Kuraray” or the “Company”) hereby announces its new global corporate tagline, “Possible starts here,” in tandem with its “PASSION 2026” medium-term management plan. The new tagline will be reflected globally beginning today, June 24, 2022, the anniversary of Kuraray’s founding.

Since 1926, Kuraray has taken on the challenge of solving social issues and adding new value through its business. The tagline “Possible starts here” represents its corporate motto, which has remained unchanged over the years, as well as its strong desire to create value together with its customers and partners for a better future.

Under the 10-year growth strategy, “Kuraray Vision 2026,” and the Company’s newly articulated sustainability long-term vision, Kuraray recently launched a five-year medium-term management plan referred to as “PASSION 2026.” Under this plan, Kuraray aims to equip employees to harness their passion and participate in realizing the Company’s vision through unity as it moves forward to its 100th anniversary in 2026.

Kuraray will work to embody this tagline throughout the Company to strengthen its sense of purpose to develop innovations for a better tomorrow, solve social issues and continue creating new value through its business activities.
