KURARAY TO EXHIBIT NUMEROUS PRODUCT LINES AT EXPO PACK Mexico
HOUSTON – Kuraray’s EVAL™, KURARAY POVAL™, and MonoSol® technology businesses will be exhibiting together at EXPO PACK Mexico 2018 in Mexico City, México, June 5-8.
At the show, the company will highlight three main product lines: Kuraray’s EVAL™ ethylene vinyl alcohol (EVOH) for flexible and retort packaging; the use of KURARAY POVAL™ polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) in the food and beverage industry; and MonoSol® water-soluble film in the cosmetics and personal care industry.
“We at Kuraray look forward to Expo Pack Mexico every year. It is an ideal setting providing direct access to a large number of players in the Latin American packaging industry. At the show, visitors will see how our portfolio of unique resins and films provide the barrier properties in packaging that extend product shelf-life, preserve flavor and nutritional value, as well as reduce overall waste. Kuraray’s advances in new technology and application development offer new and exciting opportunities to fuel growth,” said Juan Umaña, Latin America Sales Manager for Kuraray’s EVAL™ EVOH Division.
On Thursday, June 7, at 12:30 p.m. the Mexican Association of Packaging will feature a presentation from Kuraray spotlighting EVAL™ EVOH resin. Emilio Morales, technical service and development engineer, will give an overview of market trends and the advances in retortable packaging in the processed products industry. Retort packaging is a unique form of SUP and pouches used for cook-in-a-bag meals and sides, such as soups, rice, sauces, and pasta dishes.
EXPO PACK Mexico 2018 will be the largest packaging and processing show in Mexico in 2018, highlighting the latest solutions in Packaging and Processing Machinery, Materials, Containers and other related goods and services.
