HOUSTON – Officials with Kuraray America, Inc. today announced that prices will increase by $0.04 on all bags of commercial and XEP grades of EVAL™ EVOH, GF and ETC resins. Kuraray America is notifying customers of the change, which will go into effect July 15, 2014 or as contracts allow.

The price increase is due to a significant rise in the costs of packaging resin into bags. The company’s carton prices will not be affected by the increase.
