Effective May 1, 2014, or as contracts allow, Kuraray America, Inc. will increase the price of all PVOH products by $.05 to $0.15 per pound depending on the grade. This action has been made necessary by increased raw material costs and energy prices which have significantly impacted our operations and made it is necessary to partially offset these cost increases to ensure our ability to provide a reliable supply of high quality PVOH materials
